Safety & Sustainability

We work sustainably and continue to set new safety and performance benchmarks every single day. While our core capability is providing asset services solutions, our services are evolving with a strong focus on our ESG commitments.

Our ESG strategy and sustainability goals are aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals 2030, guiding us to achieve a better and more sustainable future for all.

We care deeply about the safety and wellbeing of our employees, clients, partners, communities and the environment in which we work and live. All aspects of business are underpinned by safety.

We are committed to providing an environment that empowers our employees to achieve our vision of Zero Harm.

Safety

Driven by our principle to Achieve Zero Harm, we instill the belief that accountability to achieve safe outcomes lies with each and every person in our teams and on our sites.

Our Target Zero program provides the policies and systems to ensure all team members take responsibility and care for their team mates, as well as the communities and environments in which we work.

Our Major Accident Prevention (MAP) Program is a Critical Control management program which leverages offshore safety case principles into the onshore construction environment. By analysing activities with potential for major accidents or events, and implementing critical controls, MAP provides lifesaving tools in real-time giving the supervisor the authority to stop work if they are not satisfied with the controls.

The implementation of MAP within e2o has instilled a fundamental belief we can deliver innovative, quality, cost effective solutions to our clients with zero harm.

Diversity, Equity & Inclusion

Through our commitment to diversity our business becomes more sustainable.

Our workforce consists of people from a wide range of cultures, backgrounds and skills. We are committed to providing an inclusive environment that accepts and recognises every person, embraces their strengths and differences, and provides opportunities for all people to achieve their highest potential.

We are dedicated to creating meaningful change for future generations. Through Clough’s Reconciliation Action Plan we are committed to “improving outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples by providing employment, education and business opportunities and to create a workplace that understands and values Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures.”

The RAP, which was endorsed by Reconciliation Australia in February 2022, outlines and supports our vision and contribution to reconciliation both internally in the business, and in the communities in which we operate.

Our operations are backed by the skills and values of veterans from all walks of life across the Army, Navy, Air Force, First Responders, and Cadets. e2o is a proud signatory of the Veterans Employment Commitment.
