e2o is able to utilise many software management systems to ensure that compliance and quality is managed properly during all stages of your projects lifecycle. e2o has developed its own internal Human Resources management tool that enables us to maintain and track our employees and candidates qualifications and status to enabling us to provide the resourcing to projects and maintain an excellent Industrial Relations strategy and track record.
Aside from Human Resources, e2o commonly ulitises third party software applications to manage other aspects of your project lifecycle including:
Generally e2o is able to look at the clients requirements for what needs to be managed and provide information relevant to the requirements so that a decision can be made on the best solution for the project.
The basic functionality of each type of system is outlined below.
Utilising a CCMS on a project is not a new concept as various systems have been implemented over the years with an equally variable success rate. The ability of a system to adapt to different project requirements from technical, managerial and size aspects has generally determined the specific system to be used. The one limitation that has restricted all systems over the years is that they have all been restricted fundamentally to the commissioning phase of the project. That is to say that on signoff and handover of the plant to the principal, access and integration of commissioning data does not readily or easily migrate into the maintenance system.
e2o offers web based systems that can provide all of the functionality of traditional CCMS systems whilst keeping the big picture in mind (efficiency and longevity of the operational plant). By utilising modular systems we are able to tailor make the CCMS for your project (depending on technology, size and management requirements), and then offer a solution to roll all of the commissioning data over into the Maintenance Management System. Having commissioning data available and readily accessible can provide an enormous saving in the development of operational tasks (eg. generating isolation procedures and lists), as duplication of the same work is avoided by pre-ops personnel as the commissioning team can develop these items and they can be rolled out into operations.
Please feel free to contact a member of the e2o team to discuss your project requirements further and the systems available.
Developing or implementing an SRMS after operations has begun, can be a long and onerous process given several factors given an operational practice has already taken place which has generated a culture, which can be hard to change. For this reason, e2o is able to provide and SRMS that can be implemented during the design/early construction phases that will get refined during the commissioning phase to provide a great foundation for operations to continue with after handover. Implementing a system this early in a plants life enables total traceability and accountability for all actions and decisions made with regard to any part of the plant.
Imagine that at the date of plant handover operations receive a system where all of the isolation procedures, permits to work, work procedures etc developed during commissioning can be used as the foundation for the rest of the plants life. The efficiencies gained by doing this are simply huge.
For plants with an existing system or culture, we can take what you have and tailor an SRMS so that there are only minor changes to current practises. For example if your Hot Work Permits are a certain format then we can tailor the HWP’s in the system to have the same layout with the same information. We can take historical permits, procedures and practices and upload them into the system so for routine assignments, the permit officer and planners do not need to go and re-write the permit, develop isolation lists and develop work-packs every time the job is repeated, they simply look at the history, download the relevant templates and check the isolation list for currency, and the job can be done.
We can also tailor this system to work with existing systems (your assets cost management system (CMS), maintenance management system (MMS) and scheduling tools (ST), so that when a work order is generated in the MMS, the SRMS can automatically find out when the job is to occur in the ST, how much the job will cost via the CMS. It will take this information and develop a work pack containing all relevant
The Operability Development Management System (ODMS) serves as both an operations and maintenance development and tracking platform that supports both business and operational criticality methodology, whilst providing work breakdown structure by phase and activity. The ODMS integrates with the plant enterprise systems such as SAP, Maximo etc, to effectively populate plant and operational asset information. The ODMS is a powerful knowledge driven database that provides the foundation for operations, maintenance, training, safety and departmental development. It integrates activities, task dependencies and deliverables to achieve "operational readiness".
To support the vast array of calibration equipment that e2o owns, we have invested in a calibrations management database to optimise the instrumentation calibration services we provide to clients. This enables us to upload all relevant device information into a common platform providing historic traceability combined with a user friendly interface.
The CMX system has been designed by Beamex (arguably the best calibration equipment manufacturer in the world), which interfaces to a wide range of calibration equipment. The software is quite versatile which enables clients to store and search for data by plant system, equipment type or when the next calibration is due. Many of our clients who have had the Beamex system demonstrated to them have adopted the system which makes e2o's job easy when we mobilise to site to complete calibration work.
