e2o City-Bay Team Raise $3551 for BeyondBlue
This year e2o recruited a team of "fine athletes" to participate in the 2011 City Bay Fun Run in Adelaide. While we didn't break any official records, many of the team participated for the very first time and others achieved personal best times. Best of all, we are pleased to announce that we raised $3551 for BeyondBlue: the national depression initiative.
BeyondBlue aims to increase community awareness about depression and anxiety and reduce stigma associated with this disabling condition through public education. They make the facts about depression and its effective treatments more widely available across Australia. The generous donations of our supporters will directly assist research and programs throughout Australia to prevent depression and respond effectively.
Thanks to all our participants, support crews and donors!! We will be back with a bigger and better team in 2012!!
